Brock & Chelsea - 4th February 2012 - Essentials Plus

It was the middle of October 2010 that Chelsea & Brock booked us to shoot their wedding in Warragul. I personally met with both Brock & Chelsea earlier this year and was handed a folder with every detail possible for their wedding day. Maps of the church, reception venue and their houses. Multiple CDs with music in various formats as well a full copy on USB. Chelsea was certainly organised and this made our job so much easier.

It was a fantastic day for Brock & Chelsea to get married. A little hot for the boys in their suits but certainly manageable. It was our real first chance to trial the new GoPro cameras. These cameras are full HD and we stick them on the cars. Brock & Chelsea certainly made the most of this and I just love the shots of them in the car. It also gave the drivers more reason to play up, hence the lap(s) around the round-about.

During every wedding you try and capture natural moments. The one that sticks in my mind is the shot of Chelsea with her veil at the house. The look. The smile. The moment when it all sinks in that 'today i am getting married!'. It is so natural and I just love it. Oh yeah...and whilst talking about natural, the shot of Brock grabbing his suit off the door was obviously setup BUT the dusting of the lapel and the wink was ALL BROCK...not us! Hahaha.

Brock & Chelsea, Tanya and I really enjoyed your wedding. I am really pleased with the finished product. The full edit and a whopping 2.5 hours. This is just the highlights and I hope you love them as much as we do!

Patrick & Kelly - 7th January 2012 - Essentials Plus

Pat & Kelly were our first couple to get married in 2012. It was also our first official two operator wedding and we are simply delighted with the results. Two operators means we can use up to 3 cameras at a time as well as use our cinematic equipment.

We first met with Pat & Kelly in early 2011 and again just prior to the wedding. Having filmed 'a few' weddings we were able to provide Pat & Kelly with advice on locations as well as some of timing of the key elements during the Reception. A couple of simple meetings prior to the wedding allows us to build that relationship with a couple and lets them relax on the wedding day.

Pat & Kelly, the below clip is just something we have put together for your wedding day. We wanted to showcase the benefits of having a second camera operator and I am sure you will agree that the return was well worth the investment.

Ryan & Belinda - 29th October 2011 - Essentials

Ryan and Bel were one of the four referrals we received from Tash after we shot her wedding in June 2010. When I met Ryan & Bel for the first time I knew their wedding day was going to be great. Firstly, the ceremony & reception were going to be at Red Scooter. We hadn't shot there before but I knew it was a funky venue. Second, they had booked Chris Garbacz from CGI Studios for their photos. Having worked with Chris before I knew it was going to be a fun day.

The idea for this video had been in the back of my mind for a while. The key to this video working was time. We had allowed a couple of hours for both the boys ans girls and had some time up our sleeve when it came to the ceremony.

Ryan & Bel, I know you love this video (you have already SMS'd me) and I thank you both for being the perfect couple and allowing us to showcase our work. You make us look good.
